Invary Welcomes Former NIST Cybersecurity Chief Donna Dodson to Board of Directors

Cybersecurity leader joins Invary to support the adoption of Runtime Integrity.

Lawrence, Kansas - May 4, 2026 - Invary, the category creator of Runtime Integrity, today announced that Donna Dodson has joined the company’s Board of Directors.

Built on technology exclusively licensed from the NSA's Laboratory for Advanced Cybersecurity Research, Invary continuously validates the Runtime Integrity of systems, exposing AI-driven attacks, zero-days, and persistent compromise that evade traditional tools.

Dodson is a recognized authority in cybersecurity, privacy, standards, risk management and applied cryptography. She led the cybersecurity program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where she directed the development of standards and best practices designed to protect and enhance the resiliency of systems and networks.

Her appointment comes as AI-driven attacks increasingly evade detection-based defenses and compromise the systems security tools depend on, making continuous verification of system state essential to maintaining trust in the security stack.

"Donna's work at NIST has shaped how organizations across every sector approach cybersecurity," said Jason Rogers, CEO of Invary. "As AI lowers the barrier to finding and exploiting deep system vulnerabilities, the question is now whether you can trust the systems generating telemetry in the first place. Donna's perspective is invaluable as we build on our work with MITRE and continue to establish Runtime Integrity as the foundational control that answers that question."

Dodson also served as the Department of Commerce's cybersecurity advisor. She is currently a Partner at SineWave Ventures, where she works with companies building advanced security capabilities.

"Invary delivers continuous verification at the layer where most security programs still rely on implicit trust, and it does so with technology rooted in some of the most rigorous research in the field," said Dodson. "I am excited to join Invary's Board of Directors, and I look forward to helping guide the company as it brings Runtime Integrity to both government and commercial environments.”

Dodson's experience in standards, risk management, and cybersecurity strategy positions her to help Invary accelerate the adoption of Runtime Integrity at scale, particularly within government and critical infrastructure environments where the consequences of unverified system trust are most severe.
